About Kathy

I’m a therapist in private practice, visual storyteller, part time safari guide committed to sharing stories that entertain, educate, and support conservation. The iconic animals of East Africa, particularly elephants, have profoundly impacted my work. I am attracted to the wisdom of indigenous cultures and love wandering off the beaten path.

As an advocate for conservation I hope my stories and images will inspire others to protect wildlife and consider sustainable choices when they travel. I believe people and nature are inextricably linked. When we save wild places, we save ourselves.

My wildlife images have appeared in articles, annual reports, and press releases such as The Guardian, Africa Geographic, The Sarara Foundation, Save Giraffes Now and Wildlife Direct. When I’m not traveling or seeing clients, I’m at home with my husband in Southern Ontario, Canada. There is much to celebrate in my life.
