Safari in the City

This is not a zoo, the animals are as wild as the ones we see out on the Maasai Mara or Amboseli Plain.

Next January I'm taking a small group on safari to Kenya. Nairobi is the only city in the world with a National Park along its boundary. Usually, I leave town the morning after I arrive in Nairobi and fly out to a remote camp. On my next trip I've made time to visit this unique wildlife park within the city. Imagine the open savanna with a backdrop of city skyscrapers. Many of Africa’s iconic wildlife roam freely here including black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, Cape buffalo, giraffes and over 400 species of birdlife!

Want a taste of what Nairobi National Park has to offer? Come on safari in Nairobi in this wonderful co-produced 3.50-minute video by ClemetWild and Wildlife Direct.

The January safari is fully booked. I’m dreaming the next safari with a new itinerary for the fall of 2024. Send me an email if you would like to be on the advance notification list for my next trip. The wildlife and people of Kenya are waiting to introduce you to the trip of a lifetime!
